For 50 years, our family-owned and operated business has invested in our people and community, building careers and supporting families.
Our story always has been, and always will be, about our people - those who came before us, and the ones who will carry on the legacy.
It all started in Reporoa, with a shed and a big idea.
Fast forward 50 years and our family is deeply ingrained in the local community. Three generations of our Donelley family have lived and breathed saw milling in this beautiful place. Our site is not just a workplace, it's been our family home where raising kids and working hard is the norm. We have built careers for the next generations of sawmillers.
At Donelley Sawmillers challenging the status quo is part of who we are. From a Swedish sawmill painstakingly rebuilt in Reporoa, to environmental innovations like waste-fueled boilers, everyone at Donelley Sawmillers plays their part in innovation. There’s no ivory tower or management in suits, it’s easy to suggest improvements or make a change. From apprentices to seasoned veterans, everyone's contribution is respected, creating a workplace where everyone belongs and feels valued.
